Tracking for Beginners

The art of tracking is often shrouded in myth and stories of superhuman abilities. It was said that the Apache could trail animals across bare rock and we know that the modern natives of the Kalahari Desert rely on their ability to track antelope for miles on end in order to feed their families. These skills take a lifetime to master but they take very little time to begin. Join instructor Matt Bradley as he walks you through basic track identification and pattern analysis, how to see tracks in difficult ground, and how to learn about the lives of the animals that live all around us. This class emphasizes the learning methods and routines that, if practiced diligently, will lead you to a better understanding of the lives of animals.
